Lovely Paper: Fall Dinner Party Invitation

Photobucket

Here are some fall dinner party invitations I designed. They feature a wee place setting silhouette in chocolate brown card stock with a small orange and yellow floral 'napkin.' The chocolate brown paper is again picked up in the vertical-close business sized envelope with a letter seal fashions out of the same orange and yellow stock as the napkin. The text below the place setting reads "Let's Eat!" Perfect for an informal get together and the colors are great for this time of year.  I used my color printer, 'Form My Kitchen" Cricut cartridge, floral, cream and brown card stock for this project and I love the way they turned out.

Pretty, hu? I was so pleased with they way they turned out. I used a few items from this
by Chelle Paperie featured by Nonpariel Magazine in their second issue. If you are not familiar with Nonparielyet, be sure to give it a good look. Everything about it is delicious!

Lovely Paper: Baby Shower Invitations

Photobucket

This is a blank sample of the baby shower invitations I made this week. Super cute, right? I was so please with the way these turned out. They are designed to fit in a 4x6 photo frame. The hostess is framing them and sending them out in yellow bubble mailers. I designed a coordinating mailing label as well. It should be such a cute package. I mean really, how cute is this guy?

Garden-y Note Cards

So, using the vintage veggie free download featured in my previous post, I made these cute little bundles of blank note cards to give as gifts. They would make excellent hostess gifts, don't you find?

To make these I used:

Vintage veggie graphics printed on white cardstock
White self adhesive photo corners
Parchment cardstock
Standard invitation sized envelopes
White raffia

Love is Sweet! Rehearsal Dinner Invitation

Family friends are hosting a rehearsal dinner for their son and future daughter-in-law and these are the invitations that I whipped up for it (with lots of help from dear friend Andrea-thanks man, you rock!). For dessert, they are serving cupcakes with orange icing at the request of the bride-to-be, hence the inspiration for the design. Love is sweet!

Tea Party: Part One

am planning a bridal shower tea party for my dear friend Andrea. Her wedding is going to be an outdoor event with an 'vintage chic' feel. To compliment her style, the tea party will also have an eclectic, vintage, garden-y feel. Here are the invitations:

The cards are backed and envelope lined with mod patterned card stock from Paper and More. Adding a bit of whimsy is easy if you combine soft sherbet colors and prints. More to come...
