Hello lovelies!

I am all about spreading some early holiday cheer, so just in time to get them in the mail, I have for you a free Christmas card download. My design features the saying "Merry Christmas" in 20 different languages on the front in the shape of a whimsical tree. The inside message reads "Merry Christmas to All" and the finished card fits a standard 4 3/8 x 5 3/4 invitation envelope.  Enjoy!

Free Download: Candy Corn Party Hat

Here is a fun little project I came up with today, candy corn party hats:

Photobucket

Party Hat Tutorial:

Party hats are really easy to make, especially after you've made the first one.

Your will need:

Free Candy Corn Party Hat Template
a color printer
8.5x11" white cardstock
2 lengths of narrow white ribbon
double sided tape
scissors
a hole punch

First print the template and cut it out along the yellow edge, so that you have a semi circle. Then trim along the small black half circle on the straight edge. Use a hole punch to punch out the two. small black dots in the yellow stripe. Using the double sided tape, join the straight edges to form a cone. Thread one length of white ribbon through each hole. Tie a knot on the inside ends to secure the ribbon to the hat.

I hope you enjoy this fun little project and I would like to say a big thank you to Lizzie-Lou, my weimaraner and reluctant hat model

Thank You Martha, Dahling: Measuring Equivalents and other freebies

Photobucket

I love all of Martha, Dahling's ideas but, this little number really caught my eye. This free downloadof an adorable Measuring Equivalent chart, Banking Pan Substitution chart, and Candy Temperature chart are just too cute for words. I printed mine out on patterned card stock, laminated and added a magnet to the back for handy storage on the fridge.

These would make an adorable favor for a kitchen shower, maybe tied up in a sweet little bric-a-brac ribbon with some coordinating recipe cards? Love!

Here is the full post from Martha herself!
