Here is my take on a fun project I found: DYI devil horns made
from modeling clay. I have never used modeling clay for anything
before but I think I might be in love with it. My mind is spinning
with the endless craft possibilities. For this project you will
need:
Red modeling clay
Craft glue
A paint brush
Red glitter
A plastic bag
Wide head bands
A hot glue gun
Divide the red modeling clay and shape into wee devil horns and
allow them to dry. The packaging said it would take 24 hours for
the clay to dry. I let it dry for 48 hours and I probably could
have used another day, so allow for plenty of time for this
project.

Once dry, pour some red glitter into a plastic bag and use a
paint brush to coat the horns with any standard clear-drying craft
glue one at a time. Coat the sides of the horns, leaving the bottom
glue-free to later attach to the headbands. Put the glue
coated horn into the plastic bag with the glitter and shake it like
a Polaroid picture until coated on all sides with red glittery
goodness. Allow the glitter glue to dry (a few hours).

Shake off excess glitter and attach to head bans with hot glue.
Allow the hot glue to dry and rock your devil horns, like my friend
Linda!

Here are Martha's directions for this project. I simplified it
a bit ;o)
I was pretty happy with the result of this project. The clay
took longer to dry than expected, but the devil horns looked great
held up fairly well to night of club hopping for an angles
and demons themed party ( more on that later). We did have a few
horn mishaps during the evening, but i think they were due to the
clay needing just a little bit more dry time. If I had it to do
over again, I'd make them a week in advance, so don't wait to start
your Halloween Devil Horns!
